Global settings helps to set home page title, description, site title, description, default site image, global Facebook information, global twitter information, knowledge graph.

1. Home #

a. Title

Here you can set SEO title for home page. Click on the tags or press # to insert variables into your website title. These tags will be rendered to their respective values during processing. Recommended length: ≤ 60 characters for title.

b. Description

Here you can set SEO meta description for home page. Click on the tags or press # to insert variables into your website title. These tags will be rendered to their respective values during processing. Recommended length:  50-160 characters for description.

2. Site #

Here you can set various sitewide information. This information will be used as a fallback if required resource doesn’t have this information.

a. Image

Default image for the website. This image is used as a fallback for posts/pages that don’t have any images set.
b. Facebook

Default image for the Facebook. Ideally it should have 1.91:1 aspect ratio with width ≥ 600 px.

c. Twitter

Default image for the twitter. Should have 2:1 aspect ratio with width ≥ 600 px.

d. Title Separator

Default separator to be used to separate title to tagline etc.

Organization Name #

  • The official name of your organization.
  • If left blank, it defaults to {{site_title}}.

Alternate Organization Name #

  • A shorter name or acronym of your organization.
  • Helps Google recognize alternative ways users refer to your brand.

Organization Description #

  • This is your business description. {{tagline}} is used by default.
  • A detailed description helps Google better understand your brand and improves Knowledge Graph results.

Local Business Information (For Local SEO) #

Organization Address #

  • Helps improve Local SEO rankings.
  • Ensure this matches the address listed on Google My Business for better consistency.

Contact Person #

  • The designated contact person for your organization.
  • Helps establish credibility and trust with search engines.

Opening & Closing Hours #

  • Define your business hours (in 24-hour format).
  • Essential for local businesses appearing in Google My Business and Google Maps.

Email & Phone Number #

  • The official contact details of your organization.
  • Google may display these in rich snippets and knowledge panels.

Additional Business Information #

Founding Date #

  • Specify the date your organization was established (dd-mm-yyyy).
  • Helps Google verify your business’s authenticity.

Number of Employees #

  • Adds more credibility to your company’s profile.

Organization Logo #

  • Upload a high-quality logo for Google’s Knowledge Graph.
  • Recommended size: 112x112px (minimum), in PNG, JPG, or SVG format.
